Section 07E .0104 - FEE - EXEMPTION AND FAILURE TO PAY(a) An instructor applicant who asserts exemption from the fee pursuant to G.S. 10B-14(c) shall certify on the instructor certification or recertification application form that as of the date of application, the applicant is currently employed as: (3) an employee of the Department and is authorized by the Secretary to teach notary courses as set forth in G.S. 10B-14(c).(b) The Department shall refuse to administer the notary public instructor certification exam to an applicant who has failed to pay the fee required for certification or recertification as a notary instructor before the exam date.18 N.C.
