Section 02H .1101 - PURPOSE

These Rules set forth the requirements for certification of commercial, industrial, and public laboratories to perform biological toxicity testing and aquatic population surveys of water and wastewater as required by G.S. 143-215.3(a) and 15A NCAC 02B .0200 and 02B .0500. These Rules establish an EPA-designated program for the State to implement the Clean Water Act, as set forth in 33 U.S.C. 1318 and 1319.
