Section 26D .0508 - EMPLOYEE EDUCATION AND TRAINING(a) The Department shall:(1) provide or secure orientation programs and annual continuing education and training for employees to enhance their competencies and knowledge needed to administer, manage, and deliver quality mental health and mental retardation services; and(2) assure the maintenance of an ongoing record of all education and training activities provided or secured for employees.(b) The education and training activities shall:(1) address, at a minimum, the needs identified by the quality assurance process and related committees; and(2) as deemed necessary by the Department, be provided at no expense to staff.10A N.C.
