Section 305.3 - DefinitionsAs used in this Part, the terms listed in this section shall have the following meanings:
(a) Preventive alcoholism counseling. Individual and group counseling and didactic education regarding alcohol and its effects, assistance in the provision by other staff of activities, experience and therapies, general guidance, support and service coordination which is provided to a person at special risk in order to prevent alcoholism, alcohol abuse and related problems.(b) Child. Any person under 18 years of age who is not married and is not a parent.(c) Parent. A natural of adoptive parent; a legal guardian.(d) Qualified professional. A physician, nurse, credentialed alcoholism counselor, certified social worker, or a licensed psychologist, as defined in section 330.3(j) of this Chapter.N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 14 § 305.3
