Section 65.43 - Hearing officer; duties and powers(a) A hearing in any proceeding may be conducted by one or more Board members or an employee of the Board designated and delegated the authority by the Board as a hearing officer. Any member or employee of the Board designated and delegated the authority to conduct a hearing or investigation shall possess those powers and duties mentioned and described in section 65.42, unless otherwise designated by the Board.(b) At any time, a hearing officer may be designated and delegated the authority by the Board to take the place of a person or persons previously designated to conduct a hearing.N.Y.
