The requirements forth herein are promulgated by the secretary of the health care authority by authority of Subsection E of Section 9-8-6 NMSA 1978, and Sections 24-1-2, 24-1-3, 24-1-5 and 24-1-5.2 of the Public Health Act, NMSA 1978, as amended.
Section 9-8-1 et seq. NMSA 1978 establishes the health care authority (authority) as a single, unified department to administer laws and exercise functions relating health care purchasing and regulation.
