Section 8.321.11.41 - PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND GENERAL BUILDING REQUIREMENTSA. When construction of new buildings, additions, or alterations to existing buildings are contemplated, plans and specifications covering all portions of the work must be submitted to the licensing authority for plan review and approval prior to beginning actual construction. When an addition or alteration is contemplated, plans for the entire CTC must be submitted.B. CTCs licensed pursuant to these regulations must be accessible to and useable by disabled employees, staff, visitors, and clients and in compliance with the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA), current edition.C. All buildings of the premises providing client care and services will be considered part of the CTC and must meet all requirements of these regulations. Where a part of the CTC services is contained in another facility, separation and access shall be maintained as described in current building and fire codes.D. A CTC applying for licensure pursuant to these regulations may have additional requirements not contained herein. The complexity of building and fire codes and requirements of city, county, or municipal governments may stipulate these additional requirements. Any additional requirements will be outlined by the appropriate building and fire authorities, and by the licensing authority through plan review, consultation and on-site surveys during the licensing process.N.M.
