Section 7.8.3.77 - CHILDREN'S ROOMSA. Each child's room must be an outside room.B. There must be no through traffic through children's rooms.C. Single rooms must have at least 80 square feet of floor area. Closet and locker areas are not counted as part of the floor area.D. Not more than four children over the age of two (2) may occupy a designated bedroom space. EXCEPTION: Children's Crisis Shelters may have dormitory type sleeping areas with no limitation on the number of children as long as minimum square footage requirements are met.E. Facilities which provide care and services to non-mobile children must have at least 100 square feet of floor area for each non-mobile resident.F. Rooms having more than one child must have at least 60 square feet for each bed; or at least 90 square feet of floor area for each bunk, if double bunks are used.
