Section 7.8.3.107 - WATER FOR COMMUNITY HOMESA. A facility licensed pursuant to these regulations must be provided with an adequate supply of water which is of a safe and sanitary quality suitable for domestic use.B. If the water supply is not obtained from an approved public system, the private water system is inspected, tested, and approved by the New Mexico Environment Department prior to license. It is the facility's responsibility to ensure that subsequent periodic testing or inspection of such private water system is made at intervals prescribed by the New Mexico Environment Department or other recognized authority. The facility must maintain copies of all inspection reports and certificates pertaining to its water supply.C. Hot and cold running water shall be distributed at sufficient pressure to operate all fixtures and equipment during maximum demand periods.D. Back flow preventers (vacuum breakers) shall be installed on hose bibs, laboratory sinks, janitor's sinks, and on all other water fixtures to which hoses or tubing can be attached.E. Water distribution systems are arranged to provide hot water at each hot water outlet at all times. Hot water provided to hand washing facilities shall not exceed 110 degrees F.N.M. Admin.
