Section 6A:27-1.2 - District board of education responsibilities(a) As used in this chapter, the term "district board(s) of education" shall refer to both district boards of education and coordinated transportation services agencies (CTSAs).(b) District boards of education shall provide transportation pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:39-1et seq., and shall adopt policies and procedures governing the transportation of students to and from school and school-related activities.(c) District boards of education shall adopt policies to ensure that all transportation provided to resident students is done in compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations.(d) District boards of education providing transportation services shall be responsible for the suspension of transportation services due to inclement weather or other conditions.N.J.
