Section 19:14-6.10 - Oral argument at hearing; briefs; proposed findings

Any party shall be entitled, upon request, to a reasonable period before the hearing closes for oral argument, which shall be included in the official transcript of the hearing. Any party shall be entitled, upon request made before the hearing closes, to file a brief or proposed findings and conclusions, or both. The hearing examiner shall fix a reasonable time for such filing and may grant extensions of time for good cause shown. No request for an extension of time will be considered unless received before the expiration of the time fixed for the filing of briefs or proposed findings and conclusions, unless expressly authorized by the hearing examiner, and accompanied by proof of service of a copy on all other parties. Two copies of any brief or proposed findings and conclusions shall be filed with the hearing examiner, together with proof of service of a copy on all other parties.
