Section 19:25-3.4 - Exemption(a) An exemption from N.J.A.C. 19:25-3.1(a) may be requested, if filing electronically imposes an undue hardship. Such request shall be in writing and must include the following information: 1. The full name, mailing address, daytime telephone number, and email address (if possible) of the person requesting the exemption and whether that person is a candidate or reporting independent expenditures;2. If the request is being made on behalf of a committee, provide the full name, mailing address, daytime telephone number, and email address (if possible) of the requestor and the full name and type of committee or entity; and3. A full and complete statement of all pertinent facts relevant to the basis for requesting an exemption.(b) The Executive Director of the Commission, or designee, will issue a response to the request within five business days after receipt. The Executive Director may request additional information from the individual or entity.(c) The request will not be considered received until all information set forth at (a) above, and any additional information requested by the Executive Director, is provided.(d) If an exemption is granted, that exemption applies only to the election or calendar year set forth in the Executive Director's response.(e) Exemptions to electronic filing do not affect filing dates or reporting time frames; reports and notices must be filed on the dates established for filing pursuant to Commission rules.N.J.
