Section 10A:35-2.4 - Denial of a resident right(a) The denial of a right established at N.J.A.C. 8:131-2.3(10A:35-2.3) shall be effective upon the approval of the DBHS Clinical Director or designee and/or the DOC Administrator or designee for a period not to exceed 30 calendar days, unless extended pursuant to N.J.A.C. 8:131-2.5(10A:35-2.5).(b) The reason for the denial of the right shall be documented by the DBHS Clinical Director or designee and/or by the DOC Administrator or designee. The reason shall be provided to the resident, and entered in the resident's files maintained by the Departments of Health and Corrections as soon as practicable, within 72 hours after the denial is implemented.N.J.
