Section Res 102.05 - Division of Economic Development
(a) The division of economic development shall be responsible for planning and conducting programs to attract industrial concerns to the state. The director of the division of economic development shall execute all matters relative to planning, developing and maintaining programs relative to maintaining existing industry, expanding existing industry and the development of new industry in the state as provided in RSA 12-A:22. The division shall consist of 2 subdivisions which shall be directly responsible to the director.
(b) The office of business and industrial development subdivision shall be responsible for all matters relative to programs for maintaining existing business and industry, the expansion of existing business and industry as well as the creation of new business and industry in New Hampshire.
(c) The office of international commerce subdivision shall be responsible for all matters relative to international trade promotion and foreign market development. This subdivision shall work closely with other organizations on a local, state, and international level to enable the New Hampshire business community to compete in the global market.
