A pharmacy wishing to use a centralized system for keeping records must submit written notification to the Regional Director of the Drug Enforcement Administration by registered or certified mail. A copy of the notification must be submitted to the Board. Unless the pharmacy is informed by the Regional Director that permission to keep central records is denied, the pharmacy may begin to maintain such records 14 days after receipt of the notification by the Regional Director. A copy of the notification must be maintained by the pharmacy.
