Section 634.423 - Authorization of person to work in chiropractic practice for training and educationA chiropractic physician may employ or otherwise allow a person to work in his or her chiropractic practice for the purposes of training and education if:
1. The chiropractic physician has verified that the person is enrolled in a program for the training of an assistant in a health care field which allows for the person to participate in an externship or internship as part of the program and the person is qualified by the program to participate in the externship or internship;2. The chiropractic physician has notified the Board on a form provided by the Board that the person will be working in the chiropractic physician's practice as part of the person's externship or internship; and3. The chiropractic physician and the person enter into a written agreement of a duration of 90 days or less whereby: (a) The chiropractic physician identifies the tasks or acts which the person may perform, all of which must be tasks or acts which may be performed by a chiropractor's assistant trainee;(b) The chiropractic physician acknowledges that he or she will be responsible for any and all acts or tasks performed by the person; and(c) The parties to the agreement acknowledge that the duration of the agreement does not exceed 90 days.Nev.
