Section 618.385 - Expiration; violation of requirements for qualification1. Except as otherwise provided in this section, a certificate of operation for a crane which is used to erect or dismantle a tower crane expires 1 year after the date on which it is issued.2. If a crane which is used to erect or dismantle a tower crane is repaired or modified in any way which affects the structural integrity of the crane, other than the addition of components which are a permanent part of the tower crane in its working condition, such as the jib, sections of the boom, a load block or rigging, the certificate of operation for the crane expires on the date the crane is repaired or modified.3. If the Enforcement Section determines that any condition of a crane which is used to erect or dismantle a tower crane violates the requirements set forth in NAC 618.381, the Enforcement Section may require the owner or lessee of the crane to correct the violation and obtain a new certificate of operation for the crane before the crane is operated.Nev.
