Section 449.74333 - Handling of money of patient1. If a facility handles the money of a patient, a written ledger account of all deposits, disbursements and other transactions must be maintained. A record must be made available to the patient.2. If the amount of money of a patient which the facility handles is $75 or more, the money must be maintained in a financial institution in the community where the facility is located in a separate trustee account apart from the operational accounts of the facility and must be clearly designated.Nev.
