Section 445A.621 - "Groundwater under the direct influence of surface water" defined"Groundwater under the direct influence of surface water" means any water beneath the surface of the ground that the Division has determined to have:
1. A significant occurrence of insects or other macroorganisms;2. Algae or large-diameter pathogens such as Giardia lamblia; or3. Significant and rapid shifts in water characteristics such as turbidity, temperature, conductivity or pH which closely parallel climatological or surface water conditions.Nev. Admin. Code § 445A.621
