Section 441A.705 - Toxic shock syndrome, other than streptococcal toxic shock syndrome

The health authority shall investigate each report of a case having toxic shock syndrome, other than streptococcal toxic shock syndrome, to confirm the diagnosis, to obtain specific clinical information on the syndrome and to learn more about the etiology, risk factors and prevention of the syndrome.
