Section 441A.574 - Hepatitis, unspecified1. The health authority shall investigate each report of a case having acute unspecified hepatitis to determine the cause of the hepatitis.2. If the health authority determines that the hepatitis is caused by the:(a) Hepatitis A virus, the health authority shall take further action, as appropriate, pursuant to NAC 441A.560 and 441A.565;(b) Hepatitis B, C or Delta virus, the health authority shall take further action pursuant to NAC 441A.570; or(c) Hepatitis E virus, the health authority shall take further action pursuant to NAC 441A.572.3. If the health authority is unable to determine the cause of the hepatitis or determines that the hepatitis is caused by an unidentified infectious agent, the health authority shall take appropriate measures for the prevention, suppression and control of the disease.Nev.
