Section 441A.487 - Chikungunya virus disease

The health authority shall investigate each report of a case having chikungunya virus disease to:

1. Confirm the diagnosis;

2. Search for other cases; and

3. Determine the need for measures to prevent, suppress or control the spread of the infection.
