Section 272-22-006 - DENIAL AND REVOCATION OF CERTIFICATE006.01 If an applicant does not meet the certificate qualifications, they will be notified in writing indicating the reason(s) for the denial, along with notification of the appeal process as set out in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 69-2406.006.02 If the chief of police or sheriff who issued the certificate determines that the applicant has become disqualified for the certificate under federal, state, or local law and the certificate's three-year term has not expired, he or she may immediately revoke the certificate and require the holder to surrender the certificate immediately.006.03 The agency to which an application was made will preserve evidence of the reason(s) for denial or revocation for at least 30 days, should the applicant appeal the denial or revocation. 006.04 Any person who is denied a certificate, whose certificate is revoked, or who has not been issued a certificate upon expiration of the three-day period may appeal as set out in Neb.
