Rule 37.106.3109 - MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR ABORTION CLINICS: EMERGENCY PROCEDURES(1) Staff trained in the use of emergency equipment and in cardiopulmonary resuscitation must be available whenever there is a patient in the abortion clinic.(2) The following equipment shall be available to the operating room: emergency call system; oxygen; assistance equipment, including airways and manual breathing bag; sonography; and emergency drugs and supplies specified by the medical staff.(3) The abortion clinic must have a written transfer agreement with a hospital, critical access hospital, or rural emergency hospital, for transfer of patients experiencing a medical emergency.(4) The abortion clinic must have policies and procedures in the event of emergency with documented staff training in:(c) respiratory distress/arrest;(e) emergency transfer to the facility with which the abortion clinic has a written transfer agreement.Mont.
