In addition to the definitions in 50-5-101, MCA, the following definitions apply to this subchapter:
(1) "Inpatient crisis stabilization program" means 24-hour supervised treatment for adults with a mental illness for the purpose of stabilizing the individual's symptoms.(2) "Outpatient crisis response facility" means an outpatient facility operated by a licensed hospital or a licensed mental health center that provides evaluation, intervention, and referral for individuals experiencing a crisis due to serious mental illness or a serious mental illness with a co-occurring substance use disorder. The facility may not provide services to a client for more than 23 hours and 59 minutes from the time the client arrives at the facility.
