Rule 24.156.508 - APPROVED RESIDENCY(1) A residency is approved for purposes of 37-3-102(3), MCA, if the training program meets the following criteria: (a) is in a hospital or clinic located in the United States; and(b) has been approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the American Osteopathic Association.(2) Alternatively, a residency is approved if, upon investigation, the board finds that the residency: (a) is approved by, or affiliated with, the world health organization;(b) carries malpractice insurance; and(c) requires residents to have sufficient fluency in spoken and written English to practice medicine with reasonable skill and safety.Mont.
