Section 20 CSR 2150-4.050 - Renewal of LicensePURPOSE: This rule provides information to speech-language pathologists and audiologists in Missouri regarding renewal of licensure.
(1) A license may be renewed on or before the expiration of the license by submitting the signed renewal notice and fee to the commission.(2) The commission shall mail an application for renewal to each person licensed in this state at the last known mailing address. The failure to mail the application or the failure to receive it does not, however, relieve any person of the duty to renew and to pay the fee required nor provide exemption from the penalties provided for failure to renew. Renewal forms postmarked by the post office February 1 or after will be considered delinquent. Should January 31 fall on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, renewal forms postmarked by the post office on the next business day will not be considered delinquent.(3) Any person practicing any of the acts as set forth in section 345.015, RSMo with an expired license shall be subject to discipline under sections 345.065 and 345.075, RSMo.(4) Effective February 1, 2001, all licenses, except provisional licenses, issued pursuant to Chapter 345, RSMo shall expire biennially in odd-numbered years, with the first renewal cycle beginning February 1, 2001 and ending January 31, 2003.
