Section 20 CSR 2117-2.040 - Voluntary Inactive License StatusPURPOSE: To set forth the process for a licensee to place his or her license on inactive status.
(1) A licensee may request his or her license be placed on inactive status by-(A) Submitting to the division the written request; and(B) Providing written affirmation to the division that he or she will not hold him or herself out as possessing a statewide electrical contractor license during the time his or her license is on inactive status.(2) The division shall provide written notice to the licensee of the effective date of the inactive status.(3) While on inactive status, a licensee must continue to renew his or her license for each renewal cycle and pay the inactive renewal fee.(4) A license that is inactive may still be subject to discipline.Adopted by Missouri Register May 15, 2019/Volume 44, Number 10, effective 7/1/2019
