Section 8-3-2-301.03 - BOARD COMMITTEESA. The Board by formal action and/or the President may establish standing, special or advisory committees as deemed appropriate to carry out the duties, obligations and functions of the Board. The members and a chair of each are to be appointed by the President and approved by a majority vote of the Board.B. These committees may be assisted by the Commissioner and his/her staff.C. The committees may meet at such times and locations as deemed appropriate by the designated chairman of the committee.D. The respective committees shall report to the Board their recommendations for the consideration of the Board, but committee action or approval is not required prior to approval or action by the Board.
