Rule 39-3-3-33

100. Each telephone company shall maintain on file with the Commission a map of suitable scale, showing the base rate area and/or zone boundaries in sufficient detail that they may be located in the field.

The boundaries of the base rate area in each exchange service area shall be established in accordance with an order or tariff approved by the Commission, and no change shall be made in a base rate area boundary without the authority for same having been first obtained from the Commission. However, the companies shall make continuing studies to determine the advisability of revising their base rate area boundaries.
