Should the Respondent take no action in response to a citation within thirty (30) days of its issuance date the Executive Committee shall set a date to conduct a hearing of the matter, and notify the Respondent and Complainant accordingly. The hearing described in this section may be a paper hearing as defined in these rules. If during the timeframe between issuance of the citation and the hearing date, the Executive Secretary receives new evidence that he determines would likely have exonerated the Respondent had it been possessed by the Executive Committee or Executive Secretary prior to issuance of the citation, the Executive Secretary may postpone the hearing and seek reconsideration of the citation by the Executive Committee.
