The purpose of this regulation is to set forth rules and procedural requirements which the Commissioner deems necessary to carry out the provisions of the Insurance Holding Company System Regulatory Act, Miss. Code Ann. Section 83-6-1 et seq. ( Supp. 2013), hereinafter referred to as "the Act". The information called for by this regulation is hereby declared to be necessary and appropriate in the public interest and for the protection of the policyholders in this State.
