Whenever APS personnel may have or be perceived to have a close relationship with either the alleged victim of maltreatment, the caretaker, or the reporter of alleged maltreatment, the potential for conflict of interest exists. The existence of either real or perceived conflict of interest is of concern to APS, and all instances of perceived conflict of interest shall be reported to the supervisor of the person having the conflict of interest.
