Section 12-3-2.1-1-01045-1.03 - EXECUTIONA. Inspection: Inspect existing conditions of work, including elements subject to movement, or damage during cutting and patching.B. Preparation Prior to Cutting: Provide shoring, bracing and support, as required, to maintain structural integrity of the building. Provide protection for other portions of work and protection from the elements.C. Performance: 1. Execute cutting and demolition by methods which prevent damage to other work and will provide surfaces to receive installation of repairs and new work.2. Execute excavating and backfilling by methods which prevent damage to other work and prevent settlement.3. Restore work which has been cut or removed; install new products to provide completed work in accordance with requirements of Contract Documents.4.
