Rule 1-4-10.7 - Names of Debtors That are Organizations

This rule applies to the name of an organization who is a debtor or a secured party on a UCC document.

A. Single Field - The names of organizations are stored in files that include only the name of organizations and not the names of individuals. A single field is used to store an organization name.

B. Truncation - Organization Names - The organization name field in the UCC database is not fixed in length.
