Section R. 125.1015 - Conduct of the board; decorum; ordersRule 15.
(1) The presiding officer at a hearing and the chairperson at a board meeting shall remain impartial and avoid any appearance of partiality. Parties shall be guaranteed their due process and equal protection rights. Parties and board members shall be treated courteously at all times. Inquiries by board members shall be directed through the chairperson and shall not be argumentative. Board members shall not engage in argumentative discussions among themselves in the presence of other persons at the board meeting.(2) The presiding officer at a hearing and the chairperson at a board meeting shall ensure decorum. Any person, including a board member, may be excluded from the hearing or board meeting or the hearing or board meeting may be adjourned, when necessary, to avoid undue disruption of the proceeding.Mich.
