Section R. 418.10403 - Complication, exacerbation, recurrence, or presence of other disease or injuryRule 403.
(1) If a complication, exacerbation, recurrence, or the presence of other disease or injury exists that requires additional services, then the services shall be reported and identified by the appropriate procedure code.(2) Reimbursement shall only be made for services related to, or resulting from, the covered work injury.Mich.
