(1) If a carrier assigns a rehabilitation nurse or nurse case manager to an injured worker's case, and the carrier requires that the nurse accompany the injured worker to provider visits, then the carrier shall reimburse the provider for the additional time.(2) The provider may bill the rehabilitation nurse or nurse case manager visit in addition to the evaluation and management service using code RN001. The carrier shall reimburse the provider $25.00 for RN001.(3) Procedure code RN001 shall be reimbursed at the maximum allowable fee if the provider bills the procedure during the global period for a surgical service.Mich.
