Section R. 408.10622 - Multiple and partial occupanciesRule 622.
(1) If 2 or more classes of occupancy occur in the same building so intermingled that separate safeguards are impracticable, the safeguard facilities shall be sufficient to meet the requirements for each individual area or section, as well as for the entire building.(2) If a minor portion of a building is used for any purpose incidental to the major occupancy and the minor occupancy does not incur any hazard to the remainder of the building, it shall be classified as part of the major occupancy.Mich.
