Section R. 408.15801 - ScopeRule 5801.
(1) This standard applies to the construction, operation, maintenance, and inspection of aerial work platforms with either manual or powered mobility. These rules do not apply to construction operations as defined by 1974 PA 154, MCL 408.1001 to MCL 408.1094.(2) Fire fighting equipment are not included in these rules, but are provided for in General Industry Safety Standard Part 74 "Fire Fighting," as referenced in R 408.15812.(3) Powered industrial trucks are not included in these rules, but are provided for in General Industry Safety and Health Standard Part 21 "Powered Industrial Trucks," as referenced in R 408.15812.Mich.
