(1) A side or end stake used in hauling logs shall be made of steel or dense hardwood of sufficient strength to remain at a 90 degree angle from the bed of a loaded truck.(2) A trip stake shall be released from the side of the truck or trailer opposite the location of the trip stake.Mich.
