Section R. 408.14508 - Employee responsibilityRule 4508.
(1) An employee shall not operate a machine until he has been trained in its operating procedures, hazards and safeguards and has been authorized to operate it.(2) An employee shall report immediately to his supervisor a machine, equipment or safeguard which is defective.(3) An authorized employee shall remove guards from a machine for maintenance or set up only.
