Section R. 408.11913 - Operator selectionRule 1913.
(1) An employer shall be able to demonstrate that an employee is trained and qualified to operate the equipment prior to authorizing the employee to operate the equipment. A permit system may be used to comply with this rule.(2) An employee assigned to operate a crawler, locomotive, or truck crane shall have his or her ability to meet the minimum requirements in this rule verified not less than every 3 years.Mich.
