Section R. 38.141 - Representation; appearance; withdrawalRule 11.
(1) A party may represent himself or herself before the commission or an attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan may represent a party.(2) An attorney who represents a party before the commission shall file a written appearance on or before the time of the filing of the claim of appeal or the answer, whichever is applicable, at the office of the commission. An attorney who has filed an appearance with the commission may withdraw only by order of the administrative law judge or the commission.Mich. Admin. Code R. 38.141
