Section 10.09.38.02 - Licensing RequirementsA. A certified nurse midwife providing Healthy Start services shall be: (1) Licensed as a registered nurse in the state in which services are provided;(2) Certified as a nurse midwife by the American College of Nurse-Midwives; and(3) In compliance with requirements to practice nurse midwifery in the state in which services are provided.B. Physicians providing Healthy Start services shall be licensed and legally authorized to practice medicine in the state in which the services are provided.C. Dietitians or nutritionists providing Healthy Start Program services shall be licensed in the state in which the services are provided.Md. Code Regs. 10.09.38.02
