This chapter does not create a defense or exception to 17-A M.R.S.A. §1057, which prohibits possession of firearms on the premises of a licensed establishment posted in the manner set out in 17-A M.R.S.A. §1057(1). A "licensed establishment" is one licensed for on-premise retail sale of alcoholic beverages.
