Section VII-105 - PurposeA. The Office of Prevention and Recovery from Alcohol and Drug Abuse is the designated operating agency for planning, administering, coordinating and providing a comprehensive statewide program for alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment services. Excluded under this scope of responsibility are the substance abuse prevention programs of the Department of Education and the Highway Safety Act of 1966 administered by the Highway Safety Commission of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections.La.
