Section I-9461 - Delivery of ServiceA. Radioactive materials shall be prepared, labeled, used, transported, stored and disposed of in accordance with acceptable standards of practice.B. In-house preparation of radiopharmaceuticals shall be by, or under the supervision of an appropriately trained registered pharmacist or a doctor of medicine or osteopathy whose use of radioactive materials is authorized in the facility's Department of Environmental Quality, Radiation Protection Division radioactive material license.C. There shall be proper storage and disposal of radioactive materials. If clinical laboratory tests are performed in the nuclear medicine service, the service shall meet the requirements for clinical laboratories with respect to management, adequacy of facilities, proficiency testing and quality control.La.
