Section I-9349 - General ProvisionsA. The hospital shall provide pharmaceutical services that meet the needs of the patients. The hospital shall have a pharmacy directed by a registered pharmacist or a drug storage area supervised by a registered pharmacist. The hospital pharmacy shall have a permit, issued by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy, allowing the ordering, storage, dispensing and delivering of legend prescription orders. The hospital shall have a current controlled dangerous substance (CDS) license to dispense controlled substances to patients in the hospital.La. Admin. Code tit. 48, § I-9349
