A. The Health Standards Section shall give at least 30 days notice of the denial of renewal or revocation of license unless it determines that the health and/or safety of patients is in jeopardy. In the event that it is determined that the health and/or safety of patients is in jeopardy, the license may be revoked immediately with appeal rights granted after the facility ceases operation and patients are transferred to another facility. The facility may appeal within 30 days following the revocation.B. Requests for an administrative reconsideration must be submitted in writing to HSS within 15 days of the receipt of the denial of renewal or revocation notice.C. Requests for an administrative appeal must be submitted in writing to DHH, Office of the Secretary within 15 days of the receipt of the denial of renewal or revocation notice. Requests for administrative reconsideration do not affect the timeframes for requesting an administrative appeal.La. Admin. Code tit. 48, § I-8411
